Time flies when you’re having fun, but I can hardly believe that Propelle is turning three on June 18! It’s been an incredible journey filled with growth, learning, and memorable experiences.
I had a vision for Propelle to be an organisation that was founded on strong relationships; a technology company that really is more about people rather than tech. As we reach this milestone, I wanted to reflect on how this mission has guided us as a team and with our incredible clients.
Our team is a diverse group of professionals who each bring unique expertise to the table, enabling us to provide exceptional solutions to our clients. Being a remote-first team presents its own set of challenges, but as a team we have worked hard to develop a strong culture. We prioritise meaningful connections with one another, going beyond the usual work-related tasks and celebrating life’s milestones together – whether it’s welcoming a new furry friend, cheering for our children’s achievements, or even sharing the joys and challenges of everyday life. We do this because we really care about each other, and because ‘People Make Propelle’ – which is one of the values we introduced this year.
Team members grow and evolve with Propelle, and some eventually pursue their dreams in academia or economics. While saying farewell to a valued teammate is bittersweet, I wholeheartedly support their personal and professional achievements and celebrate their success. This collaborative spirit has been instrumental in our hugely successful Team Days, where we focus on professional development and team building. We have learnt from one another, stepping out of our comfort zones to acquire new skills and knowledge.
Building strong relationships with clients has always been my passion and the part of my job that I love. I know that many of our clients see us as a part of their business, and it is an honour to be thought of in this way. Our strong relationships with clients have helped Propelle grow from strength to strength over the past three years. Our honesty and quality of work has been the driver to be invited to deliver more and more for our clients; they know that we’re not just another service provider—we’re partners invested in their success.
I believe in the power of knowledge sharing and community engagement. That’s why Propelle creates and distributes valuable content, eBooks, and scripts to help other businesses thrive. Sharing our expertise is our way of contributing to the growth and success of others, making a positive impact beyond our immediate circle.
I’m also passionate about sharing our success in other ways. As a company, we are committed to supporting non-profit organisations and giving back to causes close to our hearts. Through financial donations, we contribute to initiatives that make a difference in the lives of others. It’s our way of expressing gratitude for the opportunities we’ve been given and uplifting those in need.
When I look back on the past three years – establishing Propelle, building the team and client base – I never thought we would be where we are so early on. This rapid development has been made possible by the awesome team we have at Propelle – a dedicated, skilled, and fun group of people. Additionally, I have to thank the clients we are privileged to work with – the support is a two-way street, and we both benefit from our ongoing relationship.
